My name is Beat Calabretti.

I support CEOs, leadership teams, executives, and high potentials as strategic partner to navigate critical business challenges, driving transformation and long-term value creation. My focus is on the key levers of sustainable performance: Leadership, organization, and culture. I help leaders and their teams to translate strategic ambitions into clear decisions, effective leadership behaviors, and resilient organizational structures. Over more than 30 years, I have led complex transformation and change programs in international organizations, from strategy development through to sustainable embedding within the organization and its culture.

My experience includes:

  • Global transformation programs, including the development of new operating models and organizational structures

  • Restructurings, post-merger integration, and cultural integration following acquisitions

  • Leadership and talent strategies as well as succession planning for growth and scaling phases

  • Establishment of global HR, Culture, Change, Talent, Leadership and Learning organizations

  • Build-up, centralization, digitalization, automation and scaling of Centers of Expertise and Shared Services

Many of the programs I have led involved tens of thousands of employees and investments in the triple-digit million range. I know the dynamics of executive teams and boardrooms from direct personal experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with thousands of leaders at all levels, from local management teams to executive committees and boards of directors. Global companies such as Barry Callebaut, Siemens Healthineers, TUI Group, Celgene, Syngenta, Roche, and Mövenpick have shaped my perspective. In these environments, I have led international teams as well as global transformation and project portfolios.

A particular strength of my work lies in supporting leaders who seek to further develop their role, their impact, and their leadership identity to meet new strategic demands. I have supported organizations at different stages of maturity, ranging from high-growth companies to global corporations across industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, chemicals, agronomy, FMCG, hospitality, retail, tourism, and aviation. My advisory style is characterized by analytical clarity, calm presence, and direct communication, including when addressing sensitive issues. Clients value my ability to identify blind spots, structural tensions, and unspoken dynamics, and to translate these insights into concrete courses of action.

Education & Engagement

I hold a Master of Science in Organizational Consulting and Change Management, as well as an Executive master’s in human resources management. I also earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and have completed diplomas in Executive Coaching, Supervision, Corporate Training, and Adult Education. I currently serve as an Executive Board Member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and was previously a member of the advisory group for Executive Education at IMD Business School in Lausanne. In addition, I am certified in Hogan Assessments and Insights Discovery.

Personal

I live with my family in Northwestern Switzerland. I practice various sports and have been dedicated for many years to the Japanese martial art Katori Shinto-ryu. Discipline, mindfulness, and inner clarity shape my work as an executive coach and advisor. I also have a strong interest in art and culture and enjoy visiting exhibitions and concerts in my free time. Cooking is another of my passions. My curiosity for cultures and culinary traditions is reflected in my enthusiasm for meaningful conversations and international encounters.
